Building a performance vehicle takes the right combination of parts and expertise. From our perspective, building an estimate for the project should be just as straightforward. Yet customer requests, technician schedules, and parts sourcing often compete for attention across separate systems. The result is time lost switching between tasks and applications, slowing the process before the vehicle even reaches the lift.
Efficiency matters, and our partnership with Shopmonkey puts that priority into practice. This new integration connects our extensive performance aftermarket catalog with one of the leading shop management platforms, bringing parts sourcing into the software shops already rely on to manage their day-to-day operations.
ONE ESTIMATE, FEWER TABS
This new partnership is a one-stop shop. Shopmonkey users will be able to search, price, and order parts from Turn 14 Distribution’s catalog without leaving the estimate they are building. Our goal is to bring two parts of the shop workflow together and reduce the amount of information teams need to move between systems.
Many of the shops we work with know this routine well. A service advisor starts an estimate in Shopmonkey, opens a Turn 14 Distribution tab to research performance aftermarket parts, checks inventory and pricing, and then brings those details back into the repair order. Every additional component can mean another round of searching, switching windows, and entering information. On a busy day, those repeated steps compete with everything else happening at the counter.
With this partnership, shops will be able to search our catalog by brand, vehicle year, make, model, category, or part number directly within Shopmonkey. Real-time inventory and pricing will help teams evaluate options and add parts directly to an estimate. When the full integration launches in early 2027, shops will also be able to send orders to Turn 14 Distribution and automatically receive shipping information in Shopmonkey, making it easier to track a part from the estimate through delivery.
“We’re excited to partner with Shopmonkey to build the dream shop procurement experience: a robust catalog search experience, integrated parts management and ordering, and receiving, all within a single system they use to manage their business,” said Dan Ziegler, senior business partner integration manager at Turn 14 Distribution. “When our proprietary data and technology join forces with the leading shop management system, our dealers are the winners. We look forward to hearing their feedback and iterating on what we hope will be the best parts-shopping experience in a shop management system.”
TWO SYSTEMS, ONE WORKFLOW
That vision builds on what both companies bring to the table. Shopmonkey serves more than 10,000 independent shops across North America, helping businesses manage repair orders and organize their daily operations. We bring a broad aftermarket performance catalog, inventory across our distribution network, and technology developed to meet the needs of our dealer base.
Together, those capabilities give shops a more direct path from identifying the right part to adding it to an estimate and placing an order.
“Aftermarket shops are a growing part of who we serve, and Turn 14 is who they already trust for parts,” said Travis Bickham, chief commercial officer at Shopmonkey. “We built this partnership around that trust, not around covering every distributor at once. Connecting these two tools means shops spend less time managing tabs and more time focused on the estimate in front of them.”
Shopmonkey is also including the integration across all their subscription plans at no additional cost, giving shops of different sizes access to the same connected parts workflow. We know that for a small team balancing the service counter with the demands of running a business, reducing repetitive administrative work can create more room to serve customers and move on to the next job.
DEALERS HELP SHAPE WHAT COMES NEXT
From the start, we have viewed this integration as something that should evolve with real-world use. The initial release will allow dealers to help shape its development. Any feedback we receive will help us identify where the process can improve, and we’ll work with Shopmonkey to make further refinements.
We see this partnership as a practical step toward making parts sourcing and estimating easier for shops. By bringing the catalog, pricing, and inventory information dealers already rely on closer to the estimate itself, the integration helps streamline the process within the software they use to manage their business.
The initial release is planned for early 2027, with dealer feedback helping guide future improvements. If you have questions about the partnership ahead of the launch, reach out to the Turn 14 integrations team for more information.
