Turn 14 Distribution proudly returned as the Official Warehouse Distributor at the MPACT Motorsports Festival at Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, PA.
MPACT: MORE THAN JUST ANOTHER CAR MEET
Founded with the goal of offering more than the typical car show, MPACT is built around action, variety, and engagement. Attendees don’t just walk a show field, they feel the pulse of motorsport through roll racing, track sessions, drift demos, and burnout contests. The event thrives on interaction, with leading manufacturers like Akrapovič, AST/MOTON, BILSTEIN, BBS Wheels, LIQUI MOLY, and CSF Radiators showcasing their latest innovations and connecting with the community.
The festival takes place at the historic Pocono Raceway, better known as the “Tricky Triangle.” Once a spinach farm, it was transformed over 50 years ago into the iconic 2.5-mile tri-oval that today hosts NASCAR and SCCA races. For BMW enthusiasts, it’s a fitting setting rich in motorsport heritage and perfectly suited to a day of speed and awe.
The event’s growth mirrors the evolution of the BMW community itself. Even a rainy start, a near-annual tradition, couldn’t dampen spirits as skies cleared to reveal perfect conditions for a full day of track action and excitement. From rare Lime Rock Edition E92 M3s to wild LS-swapped SUVs and even a V12-powered March 87B, nearly every corner of the BMW world was represented.
TURN 14 DISTRIBUTION AT MPACT
We’ve attended MPACT every year since 2017, and our presence went beyond being the Official Warehouse Distributor. We hosted exclusive ride-alongs for dealers and two lucky social media winners, offering them the thrill of experiencing professional-level performance firsthand.
Guests rode with Tyler Pappas of Tyspeed, piloting his 700hp Pikes Peak Production Class BMW M2. The car, famous for chasing records at altitude, delivered heart-stopping laps around Pocono that perfectly captured the adrenaline rush at the core of MPACT.
R44 PERFORMANCE’S BMW M2
While there was no shortage of show-stopping vehicles, R44 Performance’s BMW M2 became the undeniable star. Displayed at Turn 14’s headquarters in the weeks leading up to the event, the M2 turned heads for its visual presence and technical execution.
EXTERIOR AND LIVERY
One of the first things fans noticed was the car’s striking and unique race livery. Featuring McLaren’s signature papaya orange, Porsche’s Miami Blue, BMW E46’s Laguna Seca Blue, and satin black rear contrast section, it pays tribute to iconic colors from motorsport history while asserting its own unique identity.
Beyond its livery, the car’s story begins with an OEM all-wheel-drive conversion.
CUTTING-EDGE AND TRACK READY
Performance-wise, the build showcases standout partner brands, with AST 3-way suspension dialed for drag racing, upgraded valves and springs, ARP stud kits, and CSF cooling to keep temperatures under control. It’s equipped with upgraded axles and a carbon propshaft to handle the added power reliably, ensuring durability and confidence under hard launches. Altogether, it’s a combination of cutting-edge engineering and track-ready performance.
These upgrades made the M2 not just show-worthy but track-proven, demonstrated by its blistering runs of over 180mph at MPACT and its achievement as the fastest BMW at TX2K 2025. Those accomplishments speak to the car’s capability, but the real experience comes from behind the wheel. Once the boost hits at 6,000 RPM, the surge of power is immediate and relentless, carrying hard all the way to a near-9,000 RPM redline from the S58 engine. The result is a jaw-dropping blast of power that dominates the strip.
IN THE DRIVER’S SEAT
Inside, the cockpit is pure motorsport, outfitted with a MOMO Montecarlo steering wheel that provides razor-sharp driver feedback. Outside, Vossen GEN-05 three-piece forged wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson ET Street S/S tires harness the car’s power with confidence, offering strength, and exceptional traction.
DUAL AWARD WINNER
The combination of design, engineering, and real-world performance resonated across the board. By the end of the festival, the R44 Performance M2 claimed two prestigious awards:
- Best in Show – Recognizing the single most outstanding car across the entire event for execution, creativity, and presence.
- MPACT Team Favorite Award – Chosen by event staff as the build that best captured the heart and spirit of the event.
Winning both awards in the same year is rare, and the achievement underscored just how special the R44 M2 is. Not just visually striking, but technically world-class.
A BUILD FOR THE FUTURE
The M2’s story is just beginning. The car will continue its U.S. tour, stopping at workshops and shows nationwide before tackling Gridlife at Laguna Seca, the west coast’s biggest BMW event, FL2K, and closing its U.S. tour at SEMA. It’s heading to Asia next.
CONCLUSION
For Turn 14 Distribution, MPACT 2025 was more than just another appearance. It was a celebration of the BMW community, a chance to connect with enthusiasts, and an opportunity to experience what happens when passion and performance align.
