T14’s Industry Night Hosts Customers, Builders, and Vibrant Values VIPs at PRI Hot Spot
- Industry Night is Turn 14 Distribution’s annual Indy get-together that hosts a variety of PRI attendees, influencers, vendors, and customers.
- One of Indianapolis’s foodie hot spots, The Eagle, helped make this year’s invite-only Industry Night party a mandatory stop.
- Support from our Title Sponsor, Radium Engineering, and our Official Partners, ACT, Vibrant Performance, MAHLE Motorsport, ARP, and Magnaflow, helped make this Industry Night gathering possible.
The Eagle has landed. Turn 14 Distribution’s chosen venue for its 2024 PRI Industry Night get-together—The Eagle—was the perfect excuse to use that line as our event recap opener. The vibe change to this Indianapolis foodie hot-spot followed a three-year stint at Barcade, an aptly named bar and arcade combo that allowed all of us old heads to relive our youth (or industry newbies a chance to sample the good life) for a few hours.
That said, if we were going to leave a venue as fun as Barcade, it’d have to be worth the effort to refresh the Industry Night agenda. After all, any ordinary food—even if it’s free—is hardly enough incentive to trudge through Indy’s brutal December weather. So was it worth the juice worth the squeeze?
EAT MORE CHK’N
Before we get to the event itself, I’ll make one thing abundantly clear: The Eagle isn’t ordinary food. Even though its menu is entirely comprised of comfort food selections, each item is deliciously executed. And let’s face it, an honest, warm meal in the company of friends is something we can all use when we’re away from home. We served our guests the Eagle’s most coveted fare—a slew of apps, fried chicken with hot honey and shrimp and grits, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, biscuits, and its house-made banana pudding. Some healthier selections (kale salad and collard greens) were there too to keep our guilty consciences at bay.
FOR BUILDERS
Compared to SEMA, the PRI Show is best known for its focus on the motorsport industry. Performance is of utmost importance here, and the builds (and builders) exhibited in Indy reflect that specificity. It’s a big reason our Industry Night partners are who they are. Companies like Radium Engineering have become synonymous with the motorsport community, and acknowledging its contribution to the industry was a big reason why we sought its support. Each of our Official Partners has touched the aftermarket world in similar ways, and Vibrant Performance saw the T14 Industry Night get-together as an opportunity to recognize and reward its Vibrant Values customers. Turn 14 Distribution didn’t go home empty-handed either; it received Vibrant’s Program Sponsor honors. Not a bad early Christmas present.
All 50 of its top earners received a limited run of Turn 14 Distribution x Vibrant Performance x Supertech jackets to help keep them warm through the near single-digit evenings here.
HOME AWAY FROM HOME
In contrast to Barcade, the venue switch also made it possible to create more of a “home away from home” atmosphere. In addition to providing a place where we could bring PRI attendees, influencers, vendors, and customers, we approached this as an honest opportunity to create conversations, unwind, and see each other one last time before we take a well-deserved holiday break.
After we’d polished off our lion’s share of poultry and a few tasty beverages, we looked around to see if we’d accomplished that goal. I can confidently say that we did. Although PRI is typically the last stop in the industry’s annual event calendar, every chat felt more like a jump-off point. From end to end, there were conversations aplenty. Amidst the pockets of dialogue, there was a palpable air of excitement looking forward to 2025 rather than a pale retrospective of 2024’s trials.
Thank you to our Title Sponsor, Radium Engineering, and our Official Partners, ACT, Vibrant Performance, MAHLE Motorsport, ARP, and Magnaflow, who helped make this Industry Night gathering possible.
