Bilstein Brews Hot Espresso Drinks for SEMA Attendees at T14 Booth to Start Convention Strong
- The Turn 14 Distribution truck booth (#84160) hosts Bilstein’s Trucks+Coffee activation during SEMA week.
- Complimentary espresso drinks were served to countless SEMA exhibitors, attendees, and truck fans to get the aftermarket’s biggest trade show started right.
- Pit+Paddock’s signature coffee service was highlighted by various Turn 14 Distribution’s partner vehicles, including RPM Off-Road Garage’s Toyota Land Cruiser, Bilstein’s iconic Unimog, and a Bilstein-equipped Ford Bronco.
2024 has been an odd year. Anyone at SEMA right now can attest to that, too. Central Hall’s outdoor space is undergoing a major renovation—which has notably changed its familiar footprint—and the balmy Vegas winter that we four-season residents look forward to every November has been disappointingly missing. Indeed, a week of 45° mornings in Las Vegas is an anomaly. Fortunately, Bilstein has had the perfect solution for the trade show exhibitors, attendees, and truck fans alike: a trucks+coffee activation at Turn 14 Distribution’s outdoor booth (#84160) flanking SEMA’s South Hall.
BILSTEIN’S BEST
Bilstein’s underpinnings at SEMA are serendipitous; we have made a concerted effort to make the burgeoning truck market a bigger part of Turn 14 Distribution’s world. Bilstein is one of the biggest names in truck-focused suspension. As such, the German-based manufacturer brought out one of its most well-known vehicles—the Bilstein Unimog—to stage front and center at Turn 14 Distribution’s truck booth. The Unimog’s sheer size stopped most people in their tracks en route to the show. It’s not a new project, but it’s so different from the usual fare of off-road builds that it attracted the lion’s share of attention at the booth.
A well-modified, Bilstein-equipped Ford Bronco took position next to this behemoth and stopped several show attendees before they entered the convention center. This particular example wore the suspension company’s newest 8112 coilover, touting internal and external bump stops, a wide range of damping, and a finned, exterior reservoir to help increase strength and heat dissipation.
RPM Garage’s latest LC250 Land Cruiser project was on the opposite end of the booth. It sported a Prospeed Rack exterior molle, interior cargo shelf, and roof rack in addition to a Dissent Off Road front bumper, Baja Designs lighting, and Bradley V wheels. The trio gave coffee drinkers something aspirational to look at while the caffeine started to work its magic.
COLDER THAN COLD
The desert heat was absent from the Las Vegas show this year. In sharp contrast to the usual fare—80° sunny days—we were greeted with windy, 45° mornings and 60° afternoons. We opted to extend the Bilstein Trucks+Coffee activation from 9-11 AM until 2 PM. The extension was hugely valuable to the troves of SEMA attendees that made Turn 14 Distribution’s outdoor truck booth a mandatory morning destination.
A NEW ERA
I said a very similar thing last year, but SEMA has started to reach an equilibrium between cars and trucks lately. Bilstein has been at the forefront of this industry transition; most young enthusiasts recognize Bilstein more for its truck-focused suspension products than anything else. Its early adoption of the off-road scene gave this storied suspension company a healthy jump over its competition. The partnership between Bilstein and Turn 14 Distribution—both here and beyond—is a signal that the burgeoning truck market is one of our primary focuses into 2025. As ever, thank you Bilstein for supporting Turn 14 Distribution and Pit+Paddock’s collective effort over the last few years.
